Safety & Moderation
PlayMate has posts, comments, messages, reviews, and profiles — so it ships with the tools to keep them safe. You agree to clear rules before joining, you can report anything objectionable, and you can block abusive users instantly.
The terms you agree to#
Everyone accepts our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before they can register or log in — a required checkbox on sign-up and for brand-new Apple/Google/X accounts. The terms include a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior, which gives us the basis to remove content and remove users who break the rules.

Report objectionable content#
Anywhere users can post content — posts, comments, messages, reviews, games, groups, and profiles — there's a Report action in the “⋯ More” menu. Reporting sends the content to our team for moderation.
- 1
Open the “⋯ More” menu on the post, profile, message, game, or group.
- 2
Tap Report.
- 3
Choose a reason and add an optional note.
Reasons include inappropriate content, harassment, spam, and scams. - 4
Submit — our team reviews flagged content and acts on violations.

If someone is bothering you, block them. From their profile, open the “⋯ More” menu and tap Block. Blocking is instant and:
- stops them from seeing your profile and content,
- stops them from messaging you,
- removes their content from your feed immediately, and
- notifies our team so we can review the reported behavior.

- 1
Open the other user's profile.
- 2
Tap the “⋯ More” menu (top-right).
- 3
Tap Block, then confirm.
- 4
They disappear from your feed and can no longer reach you.
You can reverse this any time — see Manage blocked users.
See and manage everyone you've blocked in Settings → Privacy & Security → Blocked users. Each entry has an Unblock button if you change your mind.

For App Store reviewers (Guideline 1.2)
PlayMate implements all required UGC precautions: a terms/EULA agreement before registration, a moderation pipeline for filtering objectionable content, a Report action on all user content, and an instant Block that removes the user's content from your feed and notifies us. A physical-device recording of the EULA, Report, and Block flows is embedded above.
