Account, Privacy & Deletion
Everything about your account lives in Settings: your details and connected sign-ins, your privacy controls, and full account deletion. Account deletion is available no matter how you signed in — including Sign in with Apple.
Account details#
Open Settings → Account to see your email, phone, and last sign-in, and to change your password or sign out (this device, or all devices).

The Account screen shows which providers are linked — Apple, Google, and X — and their connection status. Whichever you used to join, you have a complete account with every feature available, including account deletion below.
Delete your account#
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, in two taps from Settings — regardless of how you signed in, including Sign in with Apple.

- 1
Open Settings.
Tap the profile icon (top-right of the Home header), then Settings. - 2
Open Account.
Tap Account (or Account Details). - 3
Tap the red “Delete Account” row.
It sits directly below “Log Out.” It is also reachable via Settings → Privacy → Data Deletion. - 4
Confirm: tap Continue, type DELETE, then Delete Account.
Your account and all associated data are permanently removed and you are returned to the login screen.
For App Store reviewers (Guideline 5.1.1(v))
Account deletion is reachable for every sign-in method, including Sign in with Apple — the “Delete Account” row appears on Settings → Account for all users with no provider-disconnect step required. The recording above demonstrates signing in with Apple and completing the deletion flow from initiation to confirmation on a physical device. If you prefer a formal, GDPR-style request, use Settings → Privacy → Data Deletion (or our data-deletion page). It lays out your options — delete instantly in the app (above) or email privacy@playmate.app — and the policy: your account is deactivated immediately and all data is permanently deleted within 30 days (a small amount of anonymized analytics may be retained). What's removed: profile info, games & activity, groups, messages, posts & photos, connections, and preferences.

In Settings → Privacy & Security you control how you appear and who can reach you:
- Location sharing — Exact, Approximate, or Hidden (see Location sharing).
- Online status & last active — show or hide these from others.
- Messaging permissions — control who can message you.
- Blocked users — review and unblock (see Manage blocked users).
